Downtown Leesburg is very accessible and provides several parking options. There are a number of areas where parking is available: the Town Hall Parking Garage, the Loudoun County Garage, the Liberty Street parking lot, on-street parking, and private, off-street parking. A Downtown Parking Brochure is available for download, with map & other details.
Town Hall Parking Garage
The Town Hall Parking Garage, located beside the Leesburg Town Hall, has over 300 parking spaces and is available at all times. Monday through Friday, the Town Hall Garage is free for the first two hours with parking validation. Thereafter, the Town charges a modest fee of 50¢ per hour ($5.00 maximum daily). Parking at the Town Hall Garage is free if you arrive after 5pm during the week, all day on weekends and on state holidays. Enter the Town Hall Garage from either West Market or Loudoun Streets. Look for the sign directly across the street from either entrance of the Town Hall Garage.
The Town of Leesburg offers monthly rental of a limited number of reserved ($60/month) and unreserved ($40/month) parking spaces in the Town Hall Parking Garage. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. You can download the applications below:
To inquire about space availability, please email email@example.com, call 703-771-2701 or stop by the Finance Counter on the first floor of Town Hall.
Parking Validation Program
The first hour is always free in our Town Parking Garage, but sometimes one hour just isn't enough to take in all of the great shopping and restaurants found in our Historic District. Many of our downtown shops and restaurants participate in our parking validation program. Just show your ticket from the Town Parking Garage when you make your purchase and they will give you a sticker for a second hour free!
Loudoun County Garage
The Loudoun County Garage, located behind the County Government Building, has over 400 parking spaces. On weekdays until 5pm, garage parking is reserved for County employees and customers; however, after 5pm during the week, all day on weekends and on holidays, parking is available and free to the public. The entrance for the Loudoun County Garage is on Loudoun Street, just west of Harrison Street.
The Liberty Street Parking Lot is located at the intersection of Liberty and Royal Streets, just three blocks from the heart of the Historic Downtown. Parking is free and available to the public at all times in the Liberty Lot; however, overnight parking is prohibited.
There are approximately 70 metered parking spaces located throughout downtown Leesburg. On-street parking costs 50¢ per hour, for a maximum of two hours in most locations. Meters are monitored from 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. On-street parking is free after 6pm on weekdays, all day on weekends and on holidays. During the week, we highly suggest you park at the Town Hall Parking Garage instead - it's less expensive and the garage is centrally located to most downtown destinations.
Private, off-street parking is available at many businesses.
Loading zones are also available throughout the downtown area to assist you with your large purchases.
