SUMMER DAY CAMP   
The Town of Leesburg’s Department of Parks and Recreation offers a variety of summer camp programs for children from preschool age to middle school. The camps are held at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and include full day and half day programs. We will offer four, two-week sessions during the summer.  Camp information and medical forms must be on file before your child's first day of camp.  Camp forms will be mailed after camp registration in May (generally around Memorial Day.)   Commonwealth of VA School Entrance Health Form and/or Medical Waiver and Medication Consent Form are available here.

Tiny Tykes Camp (Ages 3 & 4, Child must turn 3 or 4 before May 1st) Tiny Tykes
Preschoolers will engage in circle time activities, indoor play and outdoor play, create art projects, enjoy music time and have plenty of free play.  Children need to bring a snack and drink daily. The 3-year old tiny tykes swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the last half hour of their camp day; 4-year olds will swim on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the last half hour of camp.   Children should bring a towel and wear their swimsuits on swim days.  All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session. This fee includes two camp T-shirts that will be distributed to children on the first day of their camp session. Additional T-shirts may be purchased.  This program is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and parents must provide a copy of the child’s health and immunization record and original birth certificate or passport to attend.  Camper information forms will be mailed to parents by Memorial Day.
3 year olds attend the morning session of camp from 9:00am – 12:00pm and must be completely potty trained.
4 year olds attend the afternoon session of camp from 1:00pm – 4:00pm and must be completely potty trained.

Kids Mini Camp (Ages 5-6, Entering Kindergarten or 1st grade)
Children will participate in a half-day recreational program that includes indoor swimming three times a week, arts & crafts, songs, and indoor and outdoor games and activities. Children need to bring a snack and drink daily. They should bring a towel and wear their swimsuits on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for indoor swimming.  The mini-camp will swim at AV Symington Aquatic Center on Wednesday mornings from 11:00 - noon.  All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session. This fee includes two camp T-shirts that will be distributed to children on the first day of their camp session.  Additional T-shirts are available for purchase.  Camper information forms will be mailed to parents by Memorial Day.

After SwimIda Fun Camp (Ages 7-11, Second grade - Sixth grade) 
Campers will participate in a recreational camp program that includes daily indoor swimming, arts & crafts, structured indoor and outdoor games and activities, hikes, songs, and more.  Campers should bring two snacks, a bag lunch, full water bottle, swimsuit and towel to camp each day.  All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session.  This fee includes two camp T-shirts to be worn daily.  Additional T-shirts may be purchased.  The camp fee includes three field trips; two trips to A.V. Teen Adventure Camp (Ages 12-14, Students entering 7th, 8th, 9th grade)
Campers will explore interesting and exciting destinations around the D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland areas.  Teens will travel to places including water parks, sporting events, and adventure sites (i.e., rafting, tubing, horseback riding, hiking, and laser tag.)  In addition, they will venture to various indoor locations including ice skating, the mall and the movies.  Campers will leave and return to Ida Lee Park each day via the Town of Leesburg’s 15-passenger van.  Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, drinks, water bottle, swimsuit and towel to camp each day.  All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session.  This fee includes two camp T-shirts to be worn daily. Additional T-shirts may be purchased.  Camper information forms will be mailed to parents by Memorial Day.

 Kamp Keepers is pre or post camp care for K-Kids, Ida Fun and Teen Adventure campers. Campers will play indoor games and have some gym time under supervised care.

Kamp Keepers Drop In (Ages 5-14)
Drop in is a perfect solution for those who only need early drop-off or late pick-up once in a while. Check at the front desk for availability for the morning or afternoon that you need and put your worries aside.
