Leesburg Police Investigating Bomb Threat
Shortly after noon on September 30, 2010, the Leesburg Police Department responded to a bomb threat that was received electronically by a downtown business. The building was evacuated and members from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and the Loudoun County Fire Marshall’s Office responded with explosives trained K-9s to conduct a search of the premises. The building was found to be clear of any devices and detectives remain on scene for further investigation.
