Parking Tickets & Fines


Payment of Parking Tickets

Payment must include either the original ticket, a copy of the ticket, or the ticket number, and must be received within 15 calendar days from the date of citation. If payment is not received after 15 days, the original fine amount will double.

Payments can be made online through or by calling 866-998-1865. A convenience fee will be charged and you must know the parking ticket number. More payment option information is available on our Payment Options page.

Parking Commercial Vehicle in a Residential Zone in Excess of Two Hours    

Parking across or on any line or marking painted on the street by the Town to designate a vehicular parking space $40.00
Parking an inoperable vehicle on the street $40.00
Parking on the street without license plates displayed $40.00

Please note: This fine schedule does not restrict the fine a judge may impose if there is a court hearing.

Parking Ticket Appeal Process

To appeal a parking ticket issued by the Town of Leesburg, a completed and signed Request for Appeal of the Issuance of a Parking Citation form must be received at the Finance Department within 15 calendar days from the date of citation.

Upon receipt of a signed appeal form, the Town will have a summons issued for you to appear in Loudoun General District Court for a hearing. The summons will contain information regarding the date, time, and place your appeal will be heard by the court.

Please note: Appealing a parking ticket does not waive court costs.
