The Town of Leesburg, VA (pop. 37,000+) The seat of government for one of the country's fastest growing counties, Leesburg has been successful at preserving its almost 250 years of American heritage while embracing the advantages of close proximity to the nation's capital, 35 miles west of Washington, D.C

The Town has 342 full-time and more than 250 part-time employees in 10 departments that include engineering/public works, police, parks/recreation, utilities, planning and zoning, economic development, an executive airport, and a history/genealogy library. The current operating budget is approximately $33 million, with a utilities budget of $26 million.
