The aging traffic signals at the South King and Loudoun Streets intersection are being replaced with a more attractive and in general keeping with the Historic District. To minimize inconvenience and due to the busy intersection, work is being performed between the hours of 7PM and 5AM, Monday through Friday.
Tentative work schedule is as follows:
Night Construction
- July 13 through 17, 2008 for milling and paving the intersection.
This work will be completed between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. During this work, one lane will be maintained with the use of flaggers. In the event of inclement weather, the schedule will be adjusted on a day for day basis
Project Status: On schedule with expected completion date of summer 2008.
