Bulk items are collected free of charge every Friday for town residents receiving regular curbside refuse and recycling services. Bulk items include regular household furnishings and appliances. Please see Special Collections for additional information on acceptable and prohibited items. Bulk collection services do not include brush collection, contractor materials, drywall, tree stumps and large limbs or concrete and paving materials. If you have work being performed by a contractor, you must negotiate removal with the contractor or arrange to provide your own removal. For homeowners with tree limbs under 8' in length and 6" in diameter, these items can be collected with brush pickup and are not eligible for bulk collection.
Items should be place by the curb after 4:00 PM on Thursday evenings for Friday pickup. To request a pickup, please complete the following form. You may also e-mail trash@leesburgva.gov or phone 703-771-2790 to request a pickup. All requests must be received before 12:00 PM Thursday for same week pickup. You will receive an e-mail confirming your request and the date of pickup.
