For about the same cost citizens living outside Leesburg pay for just trash pickup, Leesburg residents receive a multitude of high-quality services, ranging from playgrounds to police protection, sidewalks to snow removal.
The Municipal Government Center, also called Town Hall, is located at 25 West Market Street next to the Tally Ho Theater in the downtown Historic District. The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays and can be reached at (703) 777-2420 or through the Virginia Relay Center for the hearing impaired, (800) 828-1120. A night drop-off is located in the corner of the building at Market & Wirt streets.
The government center is adjacent to the town's three-level, 387-space public parking garage, accessible from both Market and Loudoun streets. Parking is free on weekends, holidays and for two hours on weekdays (after that, it's 50 cents per hour).
