Post Date:11/10/2017 8:30 AM

Leesburg, VA (November 10, 2017) – Today, Master Police Officer (MPO) Robert Hall completed a 6-week training course with his new partner, Brodey, at Shallow Creek Kennels in Sharpsville, PA. The team was trained in several disciplines including article searches, tracking, building searches, and narcotics detection. Brodey is considered a “dual purpose” K-9 since he is trained to be a traditional police dog and certified to detect narcotics.

“I want to congratulate MPO Hall on successfully graduating from this rigorous training.  I also want to welcome his partner, K-9 Brody, as the newest member to the Leesburg Police Department,” said Leesburg Police Chief Gregory Brown.

MPO Hall has been employed by Leesburg Police Department since July of 2002. During his time with the department, he has served as a member of the Special Operations Team, School Resource Officer, and a lead instructor for police mounted bike patrol at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy.
