FREE Document Shredding Event

The Town of Leesburg's Public Works Department will host the next free community document shredding event on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Heritage High School in Leesburg. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the school. The event will be held rain or shine.

Residents (no businesses, please) may bring up to 3 boxes or bags of documents (equivalent to 3 document storage boxes) to be shredded. Cars must be in line by 12:45 p.m. to ensure service.

Please visit our community document shred event page for more information on acceptable items and tips on identity theft protection. You may also e-mail  or phone 703-771-2790 for assistance.

During the shredding event, the Town is partnering with Loudoun Hunger Relief to collect non-perishable food items. Visit for a list of most-needed food items. Donations of gift cards to local area grocery stores also will be accepted. Donations are encouraged but not required for participation.
