Concert: Will Lee, Danny Knicely & John Flower @ Bluemont Concerts

The Evening NewsThe Bluemont Concert Series announces its 2017 season of Sunday evening concerts on the grounds of the Loudoun County Courthouse, located at 18 East Market Street in historic, downtown Leesburg.

Will Lee (banjo, guitar), Danny Knicely(mandolin, guitar) and John Flower (bass) navigate a deep and intuitive current of time, melody and harmony that will move you. Their brand new project – The Evening News – includes originals, old favorites, a cappella and hot instrumental numbers, and tight harmony singing takes a spotlight with Will’s smooth lead and baritone, Danny’s cutting tenor, and John’s soaring high-baritone.

All are welcome at these family-oriented events and are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and a picnic to enjoy before the show. There is a requested donation of $5 per person, $4 for Bluemont Friends and seniors, and $2 for kids twelve and under. Proceeds go to support Bluemont's year-round Artist-In-Education program in area schools. All Leesburg concerts begin at 7:00 pm. As at all Bluemont concerts, no pets, alcohol or smoking are allowed. In bad weather, the concerts will be held indoors at the Leesburg United Methodist Church Asbury Hall, located at 107 West Market Street.

West Market Street, from King Street to Church Street, will close at 5pm prior to each concert and will remain closed until the concert concludes.
